Jennifer, I just listened to your great interview with Ed Gandia on his B2B podcast and loved hearing the specific strategies you used to bring in more business. Thanks for sharing your tips! Looking forward to diving into the great content on your blog.
Hi Jennifer,
I just listened to your interview @ Ed’s podcast. Congrats & many thanks for sharing some awesome tips & of course… your vibrant energy!!!
Your story and niche resemble mine & I’ll tell you how in a min….
But 1st let me ask you a Q: The Brands you mentioned – IBM, Microsoft – are they your direct clients or through agency?
I worked @ Cisco, Honeywell as an engineer/tech. leader… love hi-tech & mainly to pursue my life goals & interests switched full-time to freelance B2B content writing for hi-tech. I wrote for some smaller clients… But right now brands like Intel, IBM ( and possibly similar ones yet to come) are for whom I consistently write. Those are through an agency, contracts are per project basis & doesn’t add up to anything like $36,000/contract as you mentioned in the podcast. Can you please share bit more on the kind of projects you landed and if through agency or not?
My niche is pretty cool – IOT, Data Analytics, Cloud…. Being experienced as a techie, the subject matter is not foreign & I simply love these topics 🙂
I sent you a connect. invite on LinkedIn & look forward to be in touch!!
Thanks Again & Best Wishes…..
Sravani

Hello Jennifer,
I enjoyed your interview with Ed Gandia on his podcast and I’ve been checking out the blog posts you referenced. When you talk about LOIs are you sending these out strictly as letters or are they equally effective as emails?
Thanks for the advice!

I enjoyed your talk with Ed. I’ve been reading your blog for awhile and just wanted to let you know that you are one of my go-to people (along with Ed and Steve Slauenwhite) when I need some inspiration. In some ways, I appreciate you more because you are still in the trenches, so to speak.
Hi Jennifer,
I felt I needed to take step away from my marketing efforts and went for a walk, with Ed Gandia’s podcasts. Your story is inspiring and encouraging, and you are so kind to share your tips and strategies with us. Thanks very much!!
That’s great to hear! Thank you!
I listened to the podcast today. As a writer new to the freelance space I was encouraged and inspired. I especially appreciated your thoughts on investing in yourself and your business. Thanks for a great podcast.
